At Memorial Meals, we are dedicated to the health and safety of our employees and our customers. In turn, we are able to provide you with healthy, convenient meals direct to your home in a convenient and safe way.

What precautions have you taken as a company?

Our kitchens have increased their sanitation measures and installed an air purification system. This air purification system sends out ionized hydroperoxides to attack viruses, bacteria, and mold spores as the air passes through it. In addition, all employees are temperature checked daily as they arrive.

Can Covid-19 be transmitted through food?

According to the CDC, there is no known risk of COVID-19 transmission through food. As stated by the CDC on May 11, 2020, “Currently there is no evidence to support transmission of COVID-19 associated with food. In general, because of poor survivability of these coronaviruses on surfaces, there is likely very low risk of spread from food products or packaging.”

Can Covid-19 be transmitted through the Memorial Meals' cardboard boxes in transit?

It is highly unlikely that COVID-19 will be transmitted through touching a cardboard box. Coronaviruses are generally spread from person to person through respiratory droplets. As stated by the CDC on June 2, 2020, “Although the virus can survive for a short period on some surfaces, it is unlikely to be spread from domestic or international mail, products or packaging.” With Memorial Meals' delivery, we eliminate the need to grocery shop as often. Grocery store items are subject to employees touching them to stock as well as customers shopping, touching, and breathing around the product. Our product is handled minimally to pack, and then shipped directly to you for your convenience.

Will my service be interrupted or delayed due to Covid-19?

We are making every effort to ensure all aspects of your service are not interrupted. In the event of shipping delays, we will do everything in our control to work with FedEx and resolve the issue promptly.  Unfortunately, shipping delays due to Covid-19 are out of our control.  Should you experience any issues, please reach out to our excellent customer success team and they will be happy to assist you. Will the meal choices be affected by Covid-19?

At this time, we do not foresee any meal choices being affected due to Covid-19. However, if any of our supplies are delayed due to Covid-19 related reasons, we will contact our customers immediately to offer suggestions on how we can remedy the situation with them.
